Rajamouli Baahubali fails to beat Magadheera Record
Rajamouli’s
magnum opus Baahubali was premiered on television last week in MAA TV and the
channel took it as a prestigious task to make it a grand success.
According to
the TRP released today on TAM, Baahubali has made a huge TRP of 21.84 and made
the channel stand top in the charts for the week.
However, it
failed to register a record for itself. While Baahubali shattered almost all
the record of 82 years of Telugu Cinema, it scored less than Magadheera and has
to settle for the third place in the list of highest TRP’s for Telugu Films.
On the other
hand, Pandaga Chesko, Gopala Gopala and Ganga which were also premiered this
week on television on the occasion of Dusshera, has got 11.5, 9.35, and 8.27
TRP’s respectively.
Meanwhile,
Nagarjuna’s Sriramadasu still holds the record for the highest TRP for a Telugu
movie as it has a got 24 TRP during its Television premiere.
